Does anyone have the 3G bug on T-Mobile?

I actually got a signal drop in 3g mode, so the 3.5g to 3g workaround isn't full proof.

I got a spare battery out of doing this.

I got my N8 parts from ebay.

If 3G data is on, I get a reset.
If using wifi, I lose network connection. Switch to 2G, or come back from offline, I get a reset

You're better off getting a Lumia, tbh.

Just go to an at&t store (not an authorized store). They'll give you a new sim.

Welp, 1508 didn't help the 3G issue. Went for a quick drive and my 808 restarted randomly.

Nokia couldn't fix my 808, so they sent a replacement unit. Sent in on 12/16, came back 1/4.
Came with 1507. Plugged in Phoenix and put on an EU version of 1508 to get voice search in the Map...

113.010.1508 is up on navifirm and might be in Nokia Suite.
Hopefully fixes the 3G bug.

Navifirm access is closing soon, so get it while you can.

Reflash with a different firmware

I sent my 808 in for repair due to my 3G dropouts on the 26th. Nokia received it on the 28th. I wonder what happens next. Hopefully they also fix the cracked screen or just send me a new unit.

I had a lot of 3g drops a month or two ago. I haven't had as many drops lately.

Most CFWs go too far. Most I've tried make you feel like you're using someone else's phone, not yours.
If you can learn to do your own CFW, go for it. Else, install some mods.
Unaware of any wifi...

Less frequently lately, but I still get it. Turning off HSPDA in the settings or switching to 2G are workarounds.

What about the new photo grid widget in Belle Refresh? You can choose to set it up as custom or recent.
