As title states I'd like to purchase an activated prepaid TBayTel SIM card as I'd like to sign up for the 20GB data add-on.
The SIM will need to be shipped to Toronto.
Has anyone passed 1GB yet? Just want confirm that Telus shuts you down when you hit the cap.
I remember when Mobilicity offered the Friends and Family promo to HoFo members. That $35 plan was unheard of at that point in time and in turn I do want to thank Mobilicity for introducing me to the...
I guess it's only a matter of time before Pay Before customers are offered inferior plans compared to the postpaid market ala Big 3.
Just look at Public Mobile's transition to being under the Telus umbrella to see what is likely to happy to Mobilicity if it gets bought out by a Big 3. However I can see Wind grandfathering the...
Completely forgot last year was $33. My mistake.
I have a feeling it won't be priced at $29 again.
Honestly, the bundles aren't bad. It would've nice to have text messaging to the bundles just to sweeten the bundles. Adding the $5 or $10 bundles to some of the dirt cheap plans like the infamous...
Did Mobi always have those 3 North American Voice Roaming packages?
I feel as though we won't see a (or any) drastic new data roaming package...
This is before an official government domestic roaming policy too? Interesting.
The company that swallows up Mobilicity will get rid of the Mobi brand. In that sense the plans will be subject to a price increase. No company wants unlimited everything users at a $25 ARPU.
If I remember correctly, Videotron and Rogers have a spectrum agreement though. I'm curious on the rate Wind will charge for unlimited Canadian roaming if it even comes to fruition.
Good deal from...
It's the $25 plan with data enabled.
Flashing an AWS radio doesn't equate to unlocking.
If that's what happend then OP it was an unofficial service by the rep. I'm guessing from a dealer though.
The phone got unlocked twice? Huuh
I'm not too sure we'll see Unlimited Canadian Roaming add-on by the end of the summer. I haven't heard much news other than the government is planning on regulating domestic roaming charges. By that...
Good to see postpaid ARPU at $38.
I'd be willing to bet Bell will follow suite.
So essentially you'd want to renew your contract before your original contract expires to be grandfathered?
Just marketing lingo. Almost every carrier calls their HSPA+ network 4G nowadays.
Considering the TBay plan is officially limited a population of 110,000 doesn't really support your argument. Sure there are/were loopholes to acquire the plan but the average Canadian is subject to...
I think DC-HSPA+ is possible in the regions where they have 20Mhz of spectrum like Southern Ontario.
I've mentioned MVNO importance before but ya I completely agree. There is definitely a place for new entrants in Canada, albeit personally I think only regionally at this point in time as we see with...
I'm under the impression this will include wholesale rates which will get MVNOs interested.
