Know of any VM deals? Post it here!

    Hello, I'm Codenamextreme

I decided to start this thread so that for all Loyal Virgin Mobile users that have seen good deals such as topoff cards on sale, accessories, phones, or anything else to post it here. That way instead of starting many different threads there will be only one to look through.

Please all like of us like save and to get the most out of our money so if you guys see any great deals out there don't hesitate to post it.

So far Target stores has topff cards at a discount. $20 for $17.99 and $30 at $26.99.

Radioshack also has the Snapper phone for $79.99 after $10 instant rebate.

I think you may have the Snapper confused with the Flasher. The flasher originally came out in 9/04, and was then replaced with the Snapper last year. So really the Snapper has only been out for a year or so, although based on VM's history you would think they'd have replaced it by now . It's been probably one of the best selling phones they've had though.

thats what im thinking; the snapper was reallllllly successful so i think thats why its still out for retail.
when the flasher came out, it was the FIRST camera phone, but the camera did suck :P

so for the ppl that want a great camera phone at a semi- affordable price, I think the snapper is a good buy.

Circuit City has an offer where if you buy a $90 top-up card, you get the Oystr phone for free.

Not sure if it's really a good deal. Do the $90 cards also expire in three months?

If so, buying an Oystr for 20-30 bucks plus a 20 dollar top-up card will cost you 40-50 bucks max, as opposed to the 90 bucks you'd have to spend to get Circuit City's offer.

The $90 Service Preserver Cards expire in one year.

EDIT: Excerpted from Virgin Mobile USA's website

    Q. What is the Service Preserver?

    A. Top-Up $90 within any 3 day period and Virgin Mobile's Service Preserver will keep your service active for a whole year.

Just add $90 to your account within any 3-day period by using a credit/debit card, registered PayPal account, or Top-Up cards. We'll send you a Virgin Alert letting you know that you've qualified for the Service Preserver. Reply to that message within 60 days, and you're in! We'll keep your service active for an entire year. That means there's no need to worry about Topping-Up every 90 days to keep your service from expiring. Just Top-Up whenever you need more airtime.

There is no alert sent if you use the Service Preserver Card. Just apply the card to your account and you're done!

Service Preserver - it's the worry-free way to Pay As You Go.

Well there you go then, maybe not such a bad deal after all for someone who wants to go bare bones on a phone+plan.
