Here is a code you can apply to your re-up airtime when you top up $30. Top up $30 and you get $25 free on your account. Good only until 11/30/2011.
Here is the code = 1232500
It works I used it today when I topped up my account. It works for other people too because 3 of my friends used it also. It is just a general code for this months promotion. Sorry for posting it so late. But here is a chance to save $25 bucks off your bill.
I'm wondering if the 1232500 $25 off code is a real thing - the person who posted it has never posted before, just joined and I don't see anyone else saying it's worked for them. I did a search and can't find it mentioned anywhere else - you'd think it'd be on fatwallet, etc.
I generally prefer to trust people on here, but.. is there any reason to think it's real?
Maybe it was VMU trying to get a bunch of people to top up $30 to boost their 4th quarter revenue.![]()
Or maybe VM was trying to get some names and addresses of people who post here? If you entered that code on your account and posted in this thread, based on your posts, they can now match up the users of that code to posts here and figure out exactly who you are.
And before you laugh that off with comments about tinfoil hats, look up linuxchick, the poster who worked for VM CS and posted here until she was fired after being tricked into revealing her identity by the company.
I've seen the code on some site before but can't find it now. I remember someone got the code in the mail and uploaded a pic of it. Didn't work for me so I lost a couple bucks, oh well.
Found the thread but it was deleted:

Wish it was just closed with an explanation of why...
How exactly could they link my HF username with a VM account? Anyone could do a google search and find this thread and never even have a HF account but still use the code. Maybe if I worked for VM I'd be scared but I don't think they care if their customers post here. Either way my VM account has a fake name and address...
I don't know if some has posted this, but Walmart.com now has the Blackberry for $80. Down from $100.
Cheers.
Let me remind you all once again...
This thread is for discussion of DEALS that can be had or found on VM phones and service.
It is not to discuss who got shipping notifications for phones they ordered, it is not for discussion of what problems a phone has, etc. It is for discussion of deals ONLY. The rest of the forum exists for discussion of all those other topics--and in many cases there are already threads to discuss it...please use them.
