I got my Cyclops and the two-day shipping as as advertised (though FedEx had to come back to my house because I wasn't there). I'm just hoping the rebate works...
SERO + Android = win. HSPA+ also = win, but it isn't available everywhere :/

I had had to e-mail them 5 times to get my $20.00 dollar rebate.

In a move that suprises no one, Virgin Mobile has lowered the price of the Marbl on it's website to $19.99. This follows most all of the retail outlets that carry the Marbl that have it at $19.99.

Looking over the Circuit City website, I find several things of interest as far as VM goes....

The Oystr is now $9.99 (not available for shipping)...the Vox 8610 is $16.99 (not available in stores)...The Slice is $29.99...And the Switch Back is $79.99.

These were not in their weekly sales flyer, so I don't know how long these prices are good for. Better get them while you can...

I'm looking to get my friend a snapper this thursday or friday as an early Bday present. So far i've looked at quite a few sites and the cheapest site is VM. They have it for $60. Should i get it there. I don't really like using my debit card because I have a habit of overdrafting my account. What do you guys think? Is there anyplace cheaper? I do want to buy it new though....Thanks!

If you're lucky, and have a Wal Mart locally that carries VM phones, you might find one for $60 there. I saw a couple 2 weeks ago at a Wal Mart in Concord, NH for $60. Not all Wal Marts will have the same price, though. They are becoming increasingly harder to find because they have been discontinued. A few months back, VM had reconditioned Snappers for $40, I think. They didn't last long.

Ok...thanks. After typing that, I actually remembered possibly seeing snappers at my walmart for $60. I'll have to check....I didn't know they were discontinued! I wanted to give him a switchback but they are a little too much for a gift for him right now...lol. I'm kinda going out on a limb as it is. Thanks!!!

No problem. I think the Snapper was to be phased out when they introduced the Cyclops. But I don't think the Cyclops has sold that well (since they are now both the same price on VM's site). I think the Snapper is about 2-2 1/2 years old.

Yeah right now the Snapper is $60 at Wal-Mat and if you don't need extra features (mobile email, better camera, VAM) it's probably better build quality than the Cyclops. Thoguh for me the Cyclops is better, and will be cheaper by nearly $20.

Thats what I was told(by VM) when I was having issues with my Slice weeks ago.. I'm sure the $35 Snapper would be Refurbished. But VM Refurbished phones look completely New.

That's even better, I know he definitely doesn't care....I wish there was a site or something to view all the available refurb phones.

Just call and ask someone at VM. You would have to speak with someone anyway to order it.. 1-888-322-1122
