Motorola Triumph price drop on the VM website! Down to $279.99...

And of course it's still on Amazon.com for $229.99 delivered to your doorstep.

VM is also giving a $35 credit to your account when you purchase one through the 30th. That's $255 w/ savings It's only for new customers though. This is obviously to compete w/ the LG Marquee launching on Boost in a few days at $280 as well. If they were to also launch the Marquee at some point (doubting it now), the new Triumph price would make things interesting...

Compared to other VM feature phones @ the same price point, it's better than the Restore, Rumor Touch, and Rumor2.

    A bargain @ $79.

It's not a feature phone, though. It's a smartphone. Apples and oranges. And we're dragging the thread off-topic.

For the Intercept, this is a deal. I would join those who argue that the Intercept is a deal that should be passed by.

The Intercept, it has been stated, is more of a feature phone...
After using the phone for a week, I have to say it really is the Android equivalent to the enV Touch; at the end of the day, it strikes me as being the new standard for a feature phone (rather than a low-end smartphone). With that in mind, let’s...

fwiw I Just bought the intercept because of the keyboard (moto gloves, work gloves, misguided fingers) and have to say after rooting and loading a custom ROM that the intercept is TRULY A FEW STEPS BACK FROM THE OPTIMUS V. The keyboard was the real reason I bought the phone, and now it runs "fine", but thats only because I'm tired of not having 3.5mm audio on my rumor 2. I would've been happier buying it used for about $15 less. I'll still keep holding out for awhile. Still cant beat that $25 plan. I dunno, maybe I can find a samsung restore for less than $50 used and try that out. The keyboard layout looks a bit better, and I dont have to worry about capacitive buttons and my gloves. fml if only home would work.

Optimus Slider. Worth the extra cash... I swear it's a step up from the V, if only a small one.

Can you or anyone else define what "in store activation" is? I already have a plan/phone number, would this require a new number?
