They only state what the manufacture says it can do. For example, I have the Samsung SCH-i760 and I have a 4GB chip running at full capacity. I did have to download a patch file...I did and it works flawlessly.

im running a A-Data 8gb class 6 micro sdhc card in my samsung instinct. the 8gb comes out to about 7.6gb after it's formatted. but it works well and is reasonably priced.
does anyone knows is the Samsung A737 is micro sdhc compatible?? i have an 8 GB and a 4 GB
I know 8 GB microSDHC does not work on the a737. I had one when I got the phone and tried it then. Tried reformatting the thing, still nothing (probably more because the card is too large)
The phone is rated for microSD cards up to 4 GB, but I haven't tried a 4 GB microSDHC, so I can't confirm anything else except that I know a 2 GB microSD works.
well I have an A930 and the SDHC card will not work, I got one, I guess Ill save it for the tour. The samsung website says that the phone will take up to a 1 gig card and thats the max. Will a 2 gig card work? if so which one? Im having a bit of a time finding a 1 gig card, but there plenty of 2s.
I've just gotten my new IMpression-I take a LOT of pictures and am wondering if this phone will support an SD card? Any help appreciated. BTW it's an ATT phone. Tx

I have a Telus Samsung Intensity SCH-U450 and I was talking with Tech Support and they said that since these phones are still new to the market that the "media player" is not available. However, I was told that in the next few months that a text message will be sent out of when the "Intensity SCH-U450" patch will be available. So, keep an "eye out" for those update patches. However, for the time being you can buy a SD card reader from whatever store you bought your phone.
