I don't remember seeing anything like this in the thread, but I thought I'd post it for future reference:

    http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa/...=0&AT_ID=85930

This link shows what is the maximum memory storage card Samsung phones are suggested to use.

    For instance, the T629:

    Slot Type: microSD
    Card Type(s) Supported: TransFlash
Maximum storage card size: Up to 1GB
    Recommended Card Size: 512 MB
    Folders Created at Format:
    Images
    Music
    Other Files
    Sounds
    Videos
Recommendation: Although this handset supports a larger capacity (1GB) memory card, 512 MB is the largest capacity recommended for optimum performance.

Important Notice: The new microSDHC cards, with the capacity of 4 GB or greater, are not supported on this handset.

They only state what the manufacture says it can do. For example, I have the Samsung SCH-i760 and I have a 4GB chip running at full capacity. I did have to download a patch file...I did and it works flawlessly.

I know 8 GB microSDHC does not work on the a737. I had one when I got the phone and tried it then. Tried reformatting the thing, still nothing (probably more because the card is too large)

The phone is rated for microSD cards up to 4 GB, but I haven't tried a 4 GB microSDHC, so I can't confirm anything else except that I know a 2 GB microSD works.

well I have an A930 and the SDHC card will not work, I got one, I guess Ill save it for the tour. The samsung website says that the phone will take up to a 1 gig card and thats the max. Will a 2 gig card work? if so which one? Im having a bit of a time finding a 1 gig card, but there plenty of 2s.

May I request when time warrants the following animated logo gifs if possible:
Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Redskins, US Air Force & Coors Light. I have used the search feature with negative results & have been searching all 6 previous threads. My wife & I thank you in advance.

    Post Telus Samsung Intensity SCH-U450

I have a Telus Samsung Intensity SCH-U450 and I was talking with Tech Support and they said that since these phones are still new to the market that the "media player" is not available. However, I was told that in the next few months that a text message will be sent out of when the "Intensity SCH-U450" patch will be available. So, keep an "eye out" for those update patches. However, for the time being you can buy a SD card reader from whatever store you bought your phone.
