i wouldnt count it out. ive never seen anything to support a cdma version, but based on bbs past it would seem likely. the 7100 and 8300 both debuted as gsm, but eventually had a cdma variant. bb is addressing the weakness in their lineup with the pearl and with sprint and vzw havinging a superior network that utililzes mm the pearl or a variant would make snese

Maybe, but I doubt it. With the exception of cosmetics and technology. the 7100 and the 7130 were primarily the same I believe. As are the 8100 and the up coming 8103 (yet to be launched in canada.) I'm sure the pearl will follow suit. It'll give the current "pro-sumer" device the Q a run for it's money. Personally, I hope so! I want to test drive that baby!

7130e had 2x the RAM and a better processor as well as a newer operating system compared to the 7105t.
