You can do what some people have already done... go to Cingular and buy a Siemens CT56 have it unlocked and use it with another carrier. Some Cingular dealers sell it relatively cheap from what I hear.

All,
I currently own an unlocked Samsung S105 but I'm getting ready to sell it since I'm moving to a non-gsm town. I'd figure I should see the phone now instead of June so hopefully I can get a little extra for it. However in the meantime, I need to buy another phone, nothing too expensive. I was looking at the M46. Is that a good phone? I currenly own a Nokia 3390 but it's old and boring. Any advice on a Siemens phone that works on t-mobile?
EDIT: I understand that I am looking for another GSM phone, I'm just trying to save money.

Hey thanks for the fast reply. Looks like a pretty solid fone. Would you go with that phone or the sony T300?

I'll be honest I am not a fan of the T300. It's not my bowl of cereal but I know alot of people that like it. I would go with the CT56 personally over a T300 but that's only coz I would be using that fone if I didn't by an s55. I like the quote too thx![]()
I am pretty much def, is the speaker loud?
To be honest I am not sure about how loud the speaker is on the CT56. I got my Siemens s40 from Cingular a couple years back... they let me try one out while I was there. I suggest you check out a store and see if they let you do the same. I am not sure about their unlock policies but because I was visiting from out of country and I wanted to buy the fone outright the manager of the store was good about it he sold me the fone and had it unlocked for me a few days later before I left town.
