That seems true but I have learned much from following the lg 9900 thread. They could push this phone back if need be and just re-issue a new rebate. They may try to get it out within the days listed on the rebate but anything can happen to change that

I broke no terms of service in providing these tiny, yet revealing, pictures. Moto's ready to pump these things out though because promotional materials are all made.

Edit: Those actually are the promotional materials. I'm still interested in the Infomanager pics though. Someone leak em!

Hey PSOmasterX77, thanks for the pics of the promotional materials. Do the promotional materials contain pics of the keypad? Does it look exactly like the keypad from the FCC pics or did Motorola change it so that it would look like the GSM Maxx?

Unfortunately, I dont have the actual materials here, the spec sheet would likely have a picture. If I recieve materials from Motorola in the next few days I'll be glad to share them. And I know Ry Ry and all those VZW Corporate guys have the pics and details you're looking for...

the 8300 had red bars in the promos, and as the default color scheme, but it still had options to change them or use flash in the menus. With the faster processor, I don't see what the holdup would be. If it's not customizable in that way, I'll probably be flashing to Alltel or any other carrier that gets it as soon as possible. Then again, one would have thought the A990 would have the flash UI also due to it's high class, but nope.

You think we'll still be able to do that with that Altell stuff running on the homescreen? They're going to have a Motorola UI like Sprint's now I believe.

that's true, but Celltop is merely an add-on application. It adds more options to the menus and allows further customization. The core will still be Motorola and probably retain the look and feel. Someone said that you can chose not to deal with Celltop by simply avoiding the shortcut. Unless it decides to play commercials or something obnoxious, I think many people would rather have that than red bars. Also, with every new Moto phone being released by up to 7 CDMA carriers, perhaps a true Moto UI flash will come out of USCC, MetroPCS, Amp'd or Cricket.

That's what I was thinking. Anyways, this showed up on Engadget Mobile and they stated that this can't do the Vcast TV. What's up with that?!?

This has never been listed as a Vcast TV phone, has it?

I've heard rumors. It's just, why would I go buy this great new top of the line phone when there's TV phones right around the corner?

I don't plan on getting this phone anyway, but in my area, we probably won't be getting Vcast TV for at least two years. We just got Vcast 2 months ago.

In middle America, having a good EVDO phone, minus Vcast TV, makes perfect sense.

Without the flash UI which i hope this has, i will not purchase it...Ive been waiting for a 2mp Moto to finally come to VZW....Was there confirmation yet to how the keypad layout will actually look?

I doubt this phone will have the flash ui (hope im wrong) and im sure the keypad hasnt changed a whole lot from what we think itll look like but I imagined its been tweaked....but as for the 2mp cam...I seriously doubt itll make a huge leap from what we've seen already from the standard 1.3 mp motos out there already..it will be nice to have flash but from what ive seen...and ive said this before...motorolas arent known for there camera and picture ability....I'm most eager to find out how big of battery life this phone has...retail price point...and if itll support 2 gig microsd cards...perhaps bigger whenever we see the next size up micrsd card....
