    705P is about $450 right now outside Japan. Expect that to rise when an unlock is available.

    What the.. I expected these to be much cheaper than the 705sh since not mayn ppl are interested in Panasonic.. damn

    So, this is due to the fact that it is very difficult to cancel cheaply with softbank?

    I dont agree with yours to say many people use which brand more than what..
    you know in japan mobile market...
    NEC, Panasonic should be the top ..
    you only to talk softbank/Vodafone..Dont forget NTT this largest company.

    They're not, they haven't been at the top for a little while now. Sharp has been the top seller of phones in Japan recently, followed by Toshiba, then NEC and Panasonic.

    Japanese phones are expensive...... mainly because they are hiked up by the importers.... If you can't visit Japan yourself this is the price you should expect to pay.

    450 is a bit high eh... i think i meant to put 350 in there... stupid fat fingers and small laptop!

    that's the price for a locked phone yeah, but im sure it wont be locked for long.

    mmf restrictions
    rf is not that bad @ all for a 1900mhz phone =)
