My Mac Dual 1.8 G5 Mac doesn't see my KRZR in the iSync program. If I go into my usb devices my K1m is seen. On Apple's website it says the K1m is supported.
Adding devices: Scanning picks up nothing.

Any suggestions would be great.
I'm feeling MotoStumped right now.

Still having issues with Ical time changes. Everything is an hour early and changing the standard time does not work (it works but I can only sync once without everything going crazy).
Changing the time zone in Isync works to write entries to the phone doing a "reset device", but if you try and do a second sync it wants to write a different time for the events from the phone back to iCal, which I guess makes sense. Perhaps this will go away when we catch up to the normal start date of DST. Thanks for the help!
Try pairing your phone to the mac through the BlueTooth System Preferences. Once the phone is paired, try adding it to iSync. I had to try adding it twice after the pairing (the first time, it game up as some "generic" [and unsupported] Motorola phone. the second time, it appeared as a K1m).

On a related note. I too am having (what appears to be) a DST issue with my phone. All my appointments become an hour earlier when they move to the phone. I tried playing around with the timezone iSync uses, and was able to get a good first synch by picking a timezone an hour closer to GMT, but subsequent sync's just messed up the calendar again.
I am having the same iCal issues that everyone else seems to be having. Events are one hour off and all day events will not sync. I have poked and looked at the .plist files and still cannot find anything that will work. It is now 4/3/07 past the normal DST changeover date and still no luck.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or help
I did see someone in another thread say that all day events got set to Jan 1, 2000 (or some such date). So, you might try looking there for your missing appointments. Before the time change (and under 10.4.8), I was definitely getting weird stuff with all day events. In 10.4.9, they seem to come over (at least multi-day all-day events do), but there's still that pesky 1-hour problem...
Has anyone had any luck syncing the verizon krzr via usb to a mac that is running OS 10.4.9? I've tried with the original plist file (since 10.4.9 apparently supports the krzr) but when I go to add phone all it says is "no device found"
Is it only possible with blue tooth? My older mac doesn't have bluetooth, but maybe I need to get one of those usb bluetooth things.
Whenever I try emailing myself an audio file, with the intention of using it as a ringetone, the audio files arrives 'empty.' It's under a second with no sound. The file I've been testing this with is named 'Once in a Lifetime - Ring.mp3.' It's 16 seconds, 48 kbps, 100kB. Is there anything here that would present an obvious problem? I appreciate the help!

The audio file must be 32 kps, 24 kHz, mono. It can be between 20 - 30 seconds.
My setup: PowerBook G14, Sprint k1m (latest firmware), OS X 10.4.9:
If you have OS X 10.4.9, the OS update installed a phoneplugin folder that does some strange things (couldn't quite figure out all the stuff there). This is what I did to make my k1m sync and I can sync my contacts (haven't tested the calendar yet)
Delete your Bluetooth pairings on your Mac and on your k1m
Go to iSync > Contents > Plugins > ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice > Contents > PlugIns.
Look for a folder called Motorola-K1.phoneplugin and drag it to your desktop.
