Hi all,
I have a friend visiting me in London, England in Nov - she has a verizon wireless cell phone - can she roam internationally?
I am not familiar with Verizon so I would appreciate some guidence.
Are there any options Verizon provides, given the fact there is only gsm in the UK?
Thanks
No, unless you have one of those global phones.
buy a cheap GSM phone on ebay, buy a prepaid sim when you get to europe. Its a heck of a lot cheaper.
Even with a GSM phone, international roaming rates are insane, on any carrier.
Hi there. I'm the guy on the other side of the counter. If you're a jerk to me, guess how hard I'm going to try to help you?
Yep, since she is your friend, if there is any unused minutes left, she could just leave it for you to use or use it again when she visit you again.
