I have a Krazr with Verizon and I had it working for about 10 months and all of the suden it stopped working and I have not been able to get it back. I am able to make a connection via BT with the phone and the palm and the phone beeps one time and the Palm says it is connecting then you see the hand shake and the phone disconnects. Has anyone had this take place with them? Could this be Verizon found out what I was doing? Some helping advise would be greatly appreaciated. The error on the Palm reads as follows
    Failure(0x1233)

When using QPST "read from Phone" button I get a "You entered an incorrect service code programming code please enter your phones programming code".
    I tried all 00000 but didn't work.

I see hammer got it to work on his Z6c worldphone... I recently purchased a Z6c and wonder if DUN will work when I am in Europe using GSM instead of CDMA?

it looked perfect...till my phone suddenly wanted my unlock code and then wouldn't accept the code and then phone disappeared from QPST configuration and my phone is now a big battery charger.

"Suddenly wanted [your] unlock code?" When did this occur? After you got it working? Or while you were changing the phone's settings in QPST?

    Talking phone jump

as soon as QPST finished writing to the phone the phone locked and disappeared from com4...It had somehow jumped to com7 and once I found it there I was able to re-read the phone and get the new unlock code that had been generated...i've turned off the lock phone option now. I haven't checked to see whether the process worked yet, just happy that I was able to get back into it!

Hammer, are you confirming that you were able to get EVDO DUN working on your Z6C?

If so, then I have a few questions:

    1) Did you follow the instructions at the beginning of this thread exactly, or were there other steps involved?

    2) Did you use a USB cable to get this going, or were you able to do this over bluetooth?

    3) What version of FW is installed on your Z6C?

I would love to get DUN going on my Z6C. I used DUN a lot on my E815, and I'm looking forward to getting it going again!

    Cheers,
    mw

Yes, I followed all the instructions. Nothing additional. Look at Mark Ventures pages. Setting the DUN is the same as E815 except for the mod needed using QPST. Remember to use QPST and follow the direction in the posts.

USB cable is a must. You can buy an adapter from Tmobile for about 5$

    Firmware is 01.30.11P

    Hope this helps

    Hammer,

Thank you for the prompt response. Using the USB cable, this worked perfectly. The USB cable is an must; bluetooth won't cut it.

FYI: My FW version is 01.30.11P as well.

    Cheers!

I wasn't aware that my link to the USB drivers on the MOTODEV website is no longer correct. It appears the new location is: http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/USB_Drivers/

I can't edit the first post.

    Help?

    Hi,

where I live, I cannot get any internet besides wireless or regular dial up. I am using works internet now but have been trying to connect via my K1m. I downloaded the qpst 2.7 215 build software and correct driver for my phone and got my laptop to recognize my phone as a modem. Qpst read my phone perfectly and I removed the dun from the profile and wrote the info to the phone. Whenever I wrote it to the phone, the phone lost all service for almost a minute but then was fine. During that time, it did make it to where qpst showed my phone as not ready or something. I reconnected the phone and it recognized it again and the dun was still gone.

After that, I went to connect to a network and selected dial up then my phone as the modem. everything seemed correct but then I tried to connect (I used #777 as the dial #, then my #########@vzw3g.com as the user and vzw as the password. the computer then tried to connect and I then received a message saying "unable to connect" I went to diagnose the problem and it said it appeared to be working fine. At this point, I dont know what to do and am in dire need of help. Does #777 not work or did I do something wrong? I appreciate any help anyone can provide!

Thanks to Ken for getting me this far!!
