Is it just me? Is anyone else having this problem?
Some of the messages on this forum do not appear to be resizing or wrapping. I mean, normally, any message, no matter if I am at full screen or less will resize itself to fit the window width. But on some messages, it's not doing this, the result being that I have to scroll to the right to read the messages and then back to the left to read the next line -- it's driving me nuts. It doesn't appear to be happening on any of the other forums, only prepaid.
Anyone know how to fix this?

You'll never know because you have me ignored but same here.
I may have figured it out. I think it's Tszefr's sig block which has an unbelievably long URL in it. Noticed it on a new message string he created that no one else was on yet.

Oh I don't think so. I am not seeing resizing issue today but I have in the past. I smell micro$oft. You guys are using internet exploiter are you not? Actually that .sig is a whole set of URLs, one for each letter in it in order to grab teh glitter from Plasterize. Normally I do my viewing in Firefox running on Linux.Originally Posted by carrolldf
Suggested tests: Check what threads have it / don't have it. Tell what browser is being used. Note if this thread goes in tank after I posted here. Finally, turn .sig viewing on and off and see how that affects it. You guys let me know if I am the culprit; use PM if you need to get my attention. Have fun!
I've seen that happening before with other sigs containing large graphics, not tszefr's.
No wrapping/resizing for me with either IE or Firefox using Windows XP so tszefr's .sig isn't the problem.
I have seen this issue before as well with other HUGE graphics (either an Alltel map or a scan of a T-Mobile To Go rate information page if I remember correctly).
Of course I'm using Microsoft IE with Windows XP Professional. I know many people don't like it (especially real techies) but I gave up years ago on having different software at home than what I have to use at work. It finally was not worth the hassle to keep fighting it. I even started using a mouse when I made the switch from my beloved WordStar to Microsoft Word.Originally Posted by tszefr

I can't see your sig. When I click on the URL, I can see that it's a bunch of smaller URLs as it shows only one letter at a time. (I did figure out what it's supposed to say -- I agree.)
This thread did go in tank after you posted. I checked most recent 20 strings as of time I started looking and here are the results:
Ones in red are ones which don't resize. For multi-page messages, I listed pages which don't resize. On each of them, Tszefr has posted. (I can't say that you didn't post on any of the ones which wrapped properly though.)Alltel U

I did turn sigs off and no more problem. I probably don't need them anyway since I don't need to know the exact date when joeblow had his 1000th, 2000th, etc., post. Occasionally, they are worth reading but no biggie.
Okay. Problem for me is solved -- I'll just leave sigs off.

OK since you are OK and noboby else is griping I am going to forget it. I did check it in IE and it was fine here. Still don't know the answer but since it did not reproduce here there is not much for me to do. Ciao!
But I really would like to see it. It just doesn't seem to work for me. I like sparkles.Originally Posted by tszefr
No sparkling "P". Just the URL.Originally Posted by Jairzinho
Hmmm. Wonder why. Maybe it's something with one of my popup blockers or something in security settings.
Me too that is why I picked them. If your browser is not working for plasterize, why not go over there and bug the owners? They may have ideas and probably will be interested in knowing that you have trouble.Originally Posted by carrolldf
Never mind bugging them carrolldf... I have bugged the developer for you.
"In vBulletin, if he opts to not see user posted images, it will be replaced by the URL. It stupidly replaces the image with a non-wrapping URL."
As you can tell, Plasterize developer is not a fan of vBulletin which is what Howard has here. And the components in my .sig are of course user posted images.
Let us know if that fixes it OK?
I just unchecked the "show signature" box and now all is well. I don't like having to move the mouse three feet sideways in order to read one line.
fine for me with FF. FIne with xp too. try upgrade browser to ie 7
