Is there another browser that will actually run on this thing? Its a bummer that the high-mem version of Opera causes the phone to lag bigggggg time. Mini is lacking a lot of important features. :/

Does the full version of Opera even run on the MDA though? I'm not sure.

PIE is slowwwwwww... It seriously takes forever to load anything and speed tests reflect that as well. Opera Mini, OTOH, just breezed through a 350KB image in about 10 seconds or so. PIE stalls after the first 150-200KB and then goes 3-8KB/sec for the rest of the download.

Its ridiculous how many times you have to reboot this phone, lol. I've rebooted mine a good 5 or 6 times today and I've already hard reset it twice.

I have to ask, are you using task manager to shut down tasks or leaving it to windows to manage?

I rarely need to reboot. It could be your phone

I've been using task manager to shut down tasks.

It just starts lagging alot and I've noticed that as I use it, even if I'm closing programs, the memory gets lower and lower. It dropped down to like 3MB left today after running PIE for 15 minutes... after closing PIE, it went to like 7. That's down from the 22MB it was at before PIE.

To create a direct link to MSN Messenger (instead of having to go through Pocket MSN), create a shortcut to "\Windows\instmsgr.exe".

If someone can figure out how to disable the XT9 input system-wide, I'd be eternally grateful!

can someone explain this into more detail?

    1. Enable the JOGGR

    Edit: HKCU\ControlPanel\JogBar\Settings\SwitchToAudioFun c to 0

This will disable it as a volume control, and enable it as the default JOGGR functions (back, scroll, email)

    2. Remap the JOGGR keys

    Bottom JOGGR "Button"
    HKCU\ControlPanel\JogBar\Settings\BottomKeyApplica tionNam
    and
    HK_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\JobBar\Settings\Botto mKeyAppParameter

    Top JOGGR "Button"
    HK_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\JobBar\Settings\TopKe yApplicationName
    and
    HK_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\JobBar\Settings\TopKe yAppParameter

I did part one, now i need to do part two? anyone can explain what part to does, and what i need to change...

Instructions to disable "Message Sent" notification after sending an SMS
    http://www.htcwiki.com/page/Disable+...t+Notification

Many people find the "Message Sent" notification that pops up after a successful text message to be annoying. Here is an easy registry hack to disable it. This will require a registry editor.

Disable the "Message Sent" notification after sending a text message by following these steps:

    1. Navigate to: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
    2. Create a new key "Settings"
    3. Under "Settings" create a new string value "SMSNoSentMsg" and set the value to 1
I added to #3 for clarification.

You are the best. I just realized how much I HATE predictive text when I have a full keyboard.

I haven't had to reboot once yet. Sounds like a user problem.
