You need to drag and drop the tmail.lnk file out of your Dash's "Windows" folder. It is a hidden/system file and you have to set permissions to allow access to it.

Once on your desktop, open it in Notepad and edit it to your liking.

I remaped the T-zones key to open up pIE using the DashConfig program. It works great and is very easy to use. For those of you who are getting an error while trying to run the program, you need to APP UNLOCK your phone before you can install unsigned programs. There is a cab file (for the SDA, but works on the dash also) on surreal networks to app unlock the phone. Once you do that, you can run the DashConfig program.

Here's a silly question: can you not set a homepage on pIE on WM Smartphone?

Now if you want to tell IE to go to a certain website, you can also edit the key:
HK_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\JobBar\Settings\Botto mKeyAppParameter to http://www.mobilitytoday.com or http://www.any site of your choosing.

I was explaining how to remap the e-mail key, not the t-Zones key.

And, yes, you CAN set a homepage in pIE if you're using a quick-launch key, like you are with the t-Zones key. You need to edit the link file, however. Instead of just reading "iexplore.exe" in the link file, you should also include the web address you want it to open with.

For example: 19#\Windows\iexplore.exe http://www.google.com

That won't work for the key he's using to launch pIE. That would only work if he was using the JOGGR launch.

Cool, I'll try it out. Also, how to you allow Outlook to download the entire message instead pieces of it (you know that message at the end, "get the entire message, 3k) or something? The settings are much different from the PocketPC edition.

Is anyone else who was able to stream orb and/or siriuswm5 over edge no longer able to do so? Both were working fine for me once I configured everything, now neither has been working since yesterday morning. Both work fine over WIFI, it's just Edge that suddenly stopped working.

Sirius gives me a "connection failed" message and orb hangs on "locating..." Changing to TCPMP has not worked either. I can stream radio from thestreamcenter.com and I can play the sample clips from orb's test site. Anyone else having a problem?

I have grandfathered $2.99 T-zones.

Delete the account and re-add it. That's what fixed mine when I had the same problem.

I'm new to T-Mobile from Nextel and have the Dash. I signed up for TZones about 3 days ago and I don't think it's working correctly. When I go to TZones I get a menu screen with 3 links;

When I go to "My Account" it's just simple text about my cellular account i.e. minutes used etc...

I called Customer support and all they told me I had to wait 72 hours. It's been about 72 hours and still no real Tzones. I've powered off my phone and powered back on and still nothing. Has anyone had this issue before? I have a feeling for some reason that when I call them tonight they are not going to be able to fix it....

This alarm defect is killing me. WTF? I turned off the alarm but it still goes off at different times that I had set prior. Today I didn't have to wake up until 7:30 but the dame thing went off at 5am by itself.........mind you the alarm is turned off. Why the hell does it still go off?????? Any fix???

I don't know how to connect with T-zones, per se (i.e., movies, horoscopes, etc.), but if you input the proxy settings found here and then launch internet explorer (NOT the T-zones button) you can have access to the web.

there's a thread with more people like us around here . All i know is that this majorly stinks..should be addressed by HTC hopefully
