Yeah? Well if you're so intelligent on the matter, you tell me how web browsing should make a phone freeze.

You don't know me, you don't know my technical background, and you don't know **** about the situation so don't act like you do. I'm not some little teenager with a new toy. I've built computers for over 10 years now and I'm very familiar with bugs in new devices.

Also, the phone froze again today when it wasn't doing anything but sitting there. I was at work and had it at the desk and it was sitting there not running apps, using EDGE, wifi, or anything, and it froze. So don't tell me user error when you really just don't know. Its obviously defective and I'm taking it back.

You've been Swivellized!! You aren't the first nor the last who will complain about his sarcastic childish remarks. He is knowledgeable and can be very helpful about MS Smartphones but unfortunately he has a hard time putting that into useful and tactful sentences.

Relax, slick. There's nothing really "new" about this device. The OS is used on a great deal of phones already. You're a bit too defensive. If it's not user error, it's just your particular phone. Mine's just fine.

Building computers is child's play. It's ridiculously easy and, if you've done it for 10 years, you already knew that after you built your first. And from your posts, you seem like you're brand new to WM5 devices. Either way, you really need to calm the hell down. You're far too excited.

Yeah sounds like a defective phone (or you loaded some bad piece of software). I haven't had to reboot mine yet (except to initialize some registry changes).

I'd have to agree, it's likely a bad phone since mine has been rock solid. I used it to post on HoFo somewhere over the Atlantic near Iceland on a Lufthansa flight!

I don't mean to undermine Ethereal's issue, but this thread is meant to be a FAQ, can we please get back on track and not derail it anymore?

ER, please swap your phone with the nearest T-Mo store and hopefully you will find that the hardware is excellent and you just got a bad unit.

You've probably already tried this, but delete the account and re-add it selecting Google as the e-mail provider. You shouldn't have to change any of the settings. Also try limiting it to download only the current day's worth of email to see if that works.
