It's the same way as all the other SE's. Basically remove the two torx screws at the bottom of the back, then carefully pry open the front and swap it.

    Thanks!!
On the opposite side of the lens cover, there's a large flat screw that you can tighten to prevent your lens cover from being too loose.

Prefect! That sounds almost too easy of a fix. I have to fine a small screw driver now and something pry the case apart. Thanks guys!

Do you know this from experience? It just doesn't seem like a screw would control that.

Mine is completly loose now. It just flops around like a dead fish. Makes me mad.

Was yours tight to begin with? Or was it always loose? I haven't taken apart the phone yet. Little worried about taking apart a $400 phone in fear of destroying it only after 2 weeks of ownership. Could anyone else confirm that it is a screw that tightens the lense cover?

Mine was not tight, but it would at least resist gravity and not open under its own weight.

But all of a sudden it has no friction whatsoever.

    Wirelessly posted (SonyEricssonK790a/R1EG Browser/NetFront/3.3 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Ok so i took the back off today and i believe i have discovered the problem. First off that big flat screw does absolutely nothing. There is actually a small spring that pushes a pin down to lock the cover into place. I took a small paper clip and pushed this piece down which appeared to be stuck. My lens cover was perfectly tight after this. However after reassembly the pin got stuck again after a few slides back and forth and its back to the way it was when i first got the phone. Anybody have ideas?

Can you take a pic of the inside of the cover?

I will, but please be patient, I don't know if I'll have time to do it today.
