Does this have anything to do with memory? Has the 700w on VZW site always showed the same amount of memory as the 700P? They show the same amount 128/60, total and free.

Now that we've gotten the semantics out of the way as far as who is releasing what...any news on what is in this supposed update? I've been looking around when I can and haven't found anything yet. Really not that important for me to try to brow beat a rep and find out.

if it has nothing to do with memory, i think it's stupid and worhtless then, especially since wx coming to verizon as well.

I wouldn't say that. I think some folks are would like improvements for multitasking and power management. I know I'm having a blast streaming radio from my Q through my H700 which I don't think you can do with the 700w (??) -- I wouldn't mind that. If anything, I always appreciate new functionality and enhancements.

I can stream radio on my 700w just fine... XM as well... You just can't have a lot of programs running (multitasking) without falling down to like 3-4mb... I don't know how any firmware would help us with that when the device itself is missing physical memory.
