"Includes options for diverting incomming calls to other phone numbers"
I have the same thing and i don't know if i activated it or if it's activated by default.
In my opinion it should mean that if you get a call while on a conversation it should give u options on what u want to do with that call. Anyone??
This here is a magical funtion: SEARCH
It will give you most answers for all the quests life puts you through.
Originally posted by FALCO It means that from the moment you press the send key and until the system assigns a channel for your call, any incoming calls will be automatically directed to your voice mail....
Doesn't every phone do that? Why does Nokia bother to tell you this with the vague wording?
Originally posted by nicoderm Thanks Falco, that makes sense, though I agree it is a bit odd for Nokia to go out their to way to let you know that.
It has been so since the 5190/6190 came out. The wording was a bit different back then.... "Note: Call forwarding on". Of course you will see the message only if you have the unavailable/out of reach/not answered divert to the voice mail box. Without voicemail, you will not see the message.
You can try on Fido. Cancel all conditional forwardings and then make a call, you will see that the message is not displayed.
On Rogers AT&T GSM this is not possible as the voicemail divert cannot be canceled.
Sorry, I just noticed that you are with T-Mobile..... Try it and see what happens......
Actually, with Rogers you don't get that message unless you have activated call forwarding. If it's off, you won't get anything... It's normal on Nokia phones, but the only thing is the 7210 is saying Divert instead of Forward like the older phones. Could be the language pack, but who knows.
