I'd love to update my V3i phone with the new features. If anyone knows where I can find the new MP, it would be greatly appreciated.
Come to think of it, they are also out with the V3t which is edge enabled. I wonder if that MP is compatible with the current V3i (and will thus enable EDGE).

Do not flash the my faves FW to a V3i, it will brick it. My faves V3 is R3443 vs R374 for a regular V3. If you want my faves, just change your plan, you dont need a new flash.

I think thats what he saying. The D&G V3i is also a my faves phone so the firmware won't be the same as V3i. You might look for the unbranded/unlocked original D&G firmware. I'm sure its around here somewhere.

I have both the Original D&G and the D&G 2 V3i Monster Packs.
I just wanted to see if the T-Mo version had significant improvments like the Cingular iTunes V3i MP has.
It won't help me if the V3t requires totally different firmware, which may be the case because they are EDGE capable and have different hardware, but it's worth looking into for me if simply flashing the new monsterpack on the V3i will enable EDGE.

I have the V3t firmware, but the phone does NOT have EDGEI also have the T-Mo D&G V3i. Both of these firmwares are R3443U5. I don't know if you can flash them to R479... I tried flashing a V3i DRM to my D&G and it messed up my phone. I had to flash the original DRM back.

Its to new to have a monsterpack. I'm not even sure there will be one since the firmware is so unique.

V3t MP, pulled off of OEM v3t and locked to T-Mobile http://www.savefile.com/files/224366
The v3t is R3443U5, the my faves V3 is R3443U2. This file is a backup, no mods. I flashed a font to it from a V3i, and it worked fine, but, like emarty, the DRM caused my phonebook to dissappear from the SMS menu.

there are several on motox that have flashed there R479 v3i with it and claim it works fine. In fact I'm fixing to MP mine with it.
Default V3T and V3T D&G Flex for tmobile
