anyone tried to make an ext ant for t68i?

Ok so i don't know what I am talking about- but I see people have soldered diffrent leds to the t68 - but has anyone tried to make an external Antenna.

please note I have no idea what the inside of the t68 looks like so I don't know what the internal Ant looks like or how it works.

I am wondering if anyone is doing it.

BTW I am going to do some research on this
and see if I can mod it to have a better reception.

IF you have a spare OEM antenna for T68i
let me know, ^_^ don't want to pay too much on ebay.
because i am risking to lose my phone here. haha

I am also interested in a spare internal antenna or two. I would like to try wiring them to the current antenna, and letting the wired antennas run down the back of the phone behind the battery.

I would be willing to pay $5 for an antenna, but it would have to be a T68i antenna.

I asked SE about getting a new antenna, here is their reply:

Unfortunately the faceplate is not removable nor is the antenna available for purchase it is part of the phone.
So that rules out an official venue.

(sorry but I will be cross posting this message to another thread since we cannot search)
