Just a general question, I can see that the fastest speeds are mostly using the rocket stick, but if Rogers can deliver that speed to the rocket stick than why not to an iphone? I have iphone 3GS which is supposed to be 7.2mb/s capable, but can only get speeds of around 1.8 during work and maybe 2.8 in the evening. I live in Manitoba, is there simply no HSPA+ out here yet?

I have an unlocked Motorola Milestone running the speedtest app from the market. I only get about 1-1.5 Mbps down and 0.5 Mbps upload with the device around College Park with a Rogers SIM.

With my Telus SIM I get anywhere from 3.5-4.6 Mbps down and 1 Mps upload.

I'm curious as to why Rogers is so much slower. I had the same signal strength approximately -60 dBm.

Anyone else with an android device on Rogers seeing slow transfer rates in the GTA?

not limited to rogers nor to android devices; telus bell much faster due to less congestion and better network.

I'm getting 4.55 Mbps up and 3.28 Mps down in Kelowna right now on my iPhone 4.

How do you get one of those graphic badges with the speed test results? All I could figure out was how to do a screen shot.

I seem to only avg 1.8 down and 1.5 up on my ip4.

Well, after changing the server, down went to 3.3 and up went to 2.2. Does Rogers not supply a server to actually test on, or are we just subjected to our own utilities?
