Why does it say "ISP: Verizon Business"?

What speeds did TelecomZombie get at the meet? Did they match his 1800+ Mbps speeds he posted here for EVDO?

EVDO Speeds! I'm looking for Competition

    Wirelessly posted (SonyEricssonW810i/R4EA Browser/NetFront/3.3 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.2.3.15.0)

Tz was unable to beat 1100K and most of the night hung out under 800k. he would need to go back to the beaches for 1800 he claims. Sabesh got 1500+ on his HSDPA air card. Nobody knows why is says verizon business. They were definately HSDPA aircards.

Speedtest.net uses the MaxMind GeoIP Database. Here's the MaxMind query for the Rogers HSDPA IP:

Also substantiated by Arin.net (query for 209.167.5.1):

    http://www.arin.net/whois

This explains why "Verizon Business" shows up. This IP block may have been previously used by Verizon and now owned by Rogers.

Actually, the IP block is owned by MCI Canada, which is owned by Verizon Business.

    See the ARIN whois:

MCI Communications Services, Inc. d/b/a Verizon Business UUNETCA5-A (NET-209-167-0-0-1)
    209.167.0.0 - 209.167.255.255
    Rogers Wireless Inc. ROGERS5UU8 (NET-209-167-5-0-1)
    209.167.5.0 - 209.167.5.255

I don't like the foil wire attached to the butterfly antenna.
I love how it says on the back " 3G CDMA".
