It is normal for Rogers to have miserably slow speeds in BC? I get a maximum of 1Mbps download with 300-400ms latency. I tested it just now and got 512 kbps. I'm using a Samsung Captivate and it's definitely using a 3G/HSPA connection.

john99: A 42Mbps HSPA+ upgrade is supposedly taking place in the GTA, which would explain your awesome speeds. What HSPA+ device are you using for your tests? The ZTE MF668 is supposedly limited to 21.6 Mbps down, and 5.76Mbps up. If you're using the 668, this is very interesting

Well it would be helpful if you mentioned which device you're using. I'm not aware of newer HSPA+ devices which support speeds of greater than 21Mbps. That doesn't mean they don't exist -- I just haven't seen any

I'm using a Fido sim and a 686 rocket stick. That's why I ran the test a bunch of times. Did't seem right to me.

I wasn't being a jacka55 about it. Simply said I hadn't seen any myself. I know for a fact they exist somewhere. I wanted to know the model numbers so I can stockpile a couple. Thanks for providing the information.

Probably just a typo, but you mean the 668? Sweet.
