can we get some TYTN users in here, or other NA HSDPA users via BT modem?
if data usage is your concern PM me and we can meet up for DEMO sim access
^When I get the TYTN, we will definately meet up for some DEMO fun
I just tried out HSPDA speeds tonight on my Tytn, crap thats fast, 1352Kbps, crap, there goes my 25MB data plan. Is Rogers going to revamp the data plans in light of this incredibly fast access technology? People will be blowing through their data plans in no time at all with speeds like this!

How much data is used when you run this speed test once? (I'm hoping that the aircard s/w will provide this info). Thx.Originally Posted by Treatz
If you use the DSLreports.com speed test sites, a high speed test is about 10MB per test, give or take. If you use other sites, it's still a few MBs easily. If it's a smaller test it might not be that accurate.

DSLReports.com also known as Broadbandreports.com has always been a benchmarking website to measure download/upload tests.Originally Posted by Fortissimo
Others used by the industry are:
www.speed-test.net
www.speedtest.net (I like this one because it shows a world map while testing - in the "select a region" area, scroll over to europe and asia to test your connection to their servers)

HSDPA in NYC is much slower then in Toronto from what I experienced!
Wirelessly posted (HTC CHEETAH: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320))
Odd .. I was getting same speeds as in Toronto via Cingular/Michigan.Originally Posted by WorldIRC
Perhaps its network congestion in NYC...New Jersey was fine...just on the Manhatten Island was slow.
