I know this is a really stupid question.....How the hell do you disconnect the internet connection? There is no exit button in IE....Do I always have to go to....settings....connections....wireless manager....disconnect cellular data?
Go into the Wireless Manager (either click on the 'Cingular' row of the home screen, or choose '2' from the QuickList (power button). Then, press the Menu button (it's item '1').
Anyone encounter problems with Activesync while talking on the phone? I manually activated Activesync on my Blackjack, and I started making a phone call on the Blackjack. When I finished the phone call, the device informed me that the sync process was interrupted. Almost as if my Blackjack is unable to receive data while I am talking on the phone ... Your comments about this issue would be very much appreciated.
Most likely that you fell off the 3G network when you placed the call, and thus couldn't support simultaneous voice and data. Mine does this occasionally.
You can set the timeout on the keypad backlight using registry key HKCU/ControllPanel/KeypadBacklight/Timeout. Default setting seems to be 15 seconds. I set mine to 5 seconds to conserve power.
anyone else have this problem. when attempting to install Voice Command 1.6 on my blackjack it says the device is not supported. any advice?
I think you downloaded the wrong version. There are two (one ppc & one smartphone). This is the link to the right one for smartphone at Handango. Before installing this version, assuming that is the problem, remove/unistall the other version from you pc and device before reinstalling the smartphone version.

I knew that already... I was wondering if there was another way.
Has anyone gotten VoiceCommander to work with the H700 BT headset? VC works just fine on the device, but pressing the "call" button on the headset doesn't seem to invoke VC.
