ATTN:Best Buy Employees. Your @BestBuy.com email on your PPC

Noone at my store knew this so I figured I'd share. All supervisors with BestBuy email accounts, here are settings for direct PUSH on your pocket pc.

    Open Activesync
    Menu-Add new server

    Server : sync.bestbuy.com
    (leave SSL checked)
    NEXT
Username and Password are your Toolkit/Outlook Web Access Username and password.
    Domain: NA
(check save pasword unless you want to be prompted to everytime it checks for mail)
    FINISH.

then jus go into schedule and adjust how often u want it to pull, and you adjust if its going to sync tasks contacts, etc.

hope its helpful for my fellow Best Buy employees!

    Thanks CP!

It would be great to have a thread specifically set up for this purpose that have more companies set up procedures listed. My company will not help me set up my 8125 for push e-mail as they "don't support wireless" except for the Blackberry.

That forces me to use Microsoft Web Outlook for e-mail when on my MDA which of course is on demand e-mail, not true push.

    I don't want a Blackberry!

Employee Email on a Blackberry Curve

    Hello,

I am also a fellow BB employee and I am looking to get my work email on my AT&T Blackberry Curve.

Any idea? I can't find any documents in Tagzone or any company portals.

    Thanks!

Lol. All you had to do was ask a DA from the geeksquad about the sync info, there work phones are synced with the servers for there @geeksquad email which is just an alias for there @bestbuy email.

Its not like it was a secret

cant be done. BBY has cut off support for BB Push to Best Buy server. only options are WM, Palm, or even Symbian. I use my Tilt and N95 for Push daily.

I tried syncing BB email with my old Nextel i930 and even MS Outlook and it still doesn't work. Is the mail server mail.bestbuy.com ?
