Activate Used Phone with Current Verizon Account

OK, if I purchase a used cell from ebay to replace my lost phone, what’s involved to activate that phone with my Verizon Acct. Info.? Do I just take it to Verizon and they can take care it for me? Can I also ask them to make my secondary VX4400 as my primary phone and this used phone I'm about to purchase as the secondary? I lost my primary VX4400.

First of all, if you have not done so already, call Verizon to tell them you lost your phone so no one else can use it if it gets located. Second, to activiate the phone you bought on eBay, just call Customer Service and they will have you read them the ESN. They will enter it into their system and tell you to do *228, option 1. Voila, your phone is activated.
