2 Questions for 902SH (JP F/W)

Hello all,

I have 2 questions in hopes that someone may be able to help me, the first is that I am looking for the Handset Manager for the Japanese Firmware of the 902SH (I can't seem to find the CD that came with the phone).

My other question is that, my GF will be returning to Japan with the phone soon, I have it set up with T-Mo GPRS, SMS, and MMS settings and I need to change it so that it has the Vodafone kk/Softbank settings. Does anyone have these settings so that I can set up her phone to connect back in Japan.

She only needs those settings if she's reconnecting with Softbank using a Softbank USIM. In that case, the phone will do reprovisioning and download the settings on its own without any manual input.

No that's compatible with 902SH JP firmware only, but Sharp should have the handset managers for their other phones too. Which ones were you looking for specifically?

EDIT: Just looked into it, Sharp only had a direct link for the 902SH/802SH JP firmware. For all their other JP firmware phones, the handset managers are available from here:

Hmm I can't seem to get it to work with mine, I have the unlocked Japanese Firmware, and I'm trying to use it over bluetooth. Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong? I already have the handset paired with the computer.

Using it over Bluetooth can be quite problematic depending on your Bluetooth adaptor for your PC. Try search the forum, I think people have had a go at it before, but I just use infra-red instead with my 903, it's far more reliable.
