you know what would make Fido perfect?

    A family PLAN!

i mean rogers has it. you can add a second phone to the same plan for $10. why doesnt Fido do somethin like this?

i'm not complaining about fido, i am very happy with it. But i'm just wondering why fido doesnt have a family plan?

    It would be amazing!

2 phones on the same plan for $10 extra.

    Like I mentioned many times...

I would really like a family plan like this:

1 main line.. just like rogers way

each additional line is $15-20...comes with extra 50-100 shared minutes and up to 4-6 phones... all billed by seconds

-maybe share unlimited SMS or GPRS (if its purchased)

--my point is, FIDO should not go the $10 Rogers way. make it at least $15....

FIDO just need to get more aggressive and take a big bite out of Mr. Rogers...

something like... free Analogue roaming for 1yr with purchase of 6340.... - They don't charge much for this anyways... and most the time people have analogue roaming, they will be on LD and billed by minutes.. so..

or maybe another GAIT phone.. the SE one... T61 or something?

what? if its is like $15 + $7.20 then i might as well get a $20 plan! i mean.....why bother with the $15 + $7.20 just to get one bill!

the only reason i would switch to a family plan is that, i currently use the $30 plan and my mom uses $10 prepaid occasionally. So if they had a family plan, instead of gettin the $10 from me every 2 or 3 months, they would get it every month!

If you take the 20$ plan, it's still going to be 7,20$ license fee.

Don't you ever look at your bill? The government likes to charge you a license fee, and use it to promote the fact that they have huge budget surplus

I'm pretty sure you are charged access fee with Rogers on the family plan... It's not really that great of a deal.

It's a good deal if you have one person who frequently goes over their bucket of minutes and one person who frequently doesn't use their allotment of minutes. Also, shared plans on Bell give the bonus of unlimited mobile to mobile~ which is real cool too.

If you think about it, family mobile to mobile sounds like a great inclusive promotion of these so called "family plans". I mean, how long would you normally spend talking on the phone to a family member anyways? personally, its just usually a quick ten second call, like "can you pick me up?". Even though that call wouldn't cost that much on fido's current per second billing, it would be a nice incentive to attract clients

also, some things that might save FIDO is:

-for any PLANS, receiver doesnt get billed for FIDO to FIDO calls??
-for any PLANS, unlimited E/W for Fido to Fido calls?

or maybe my suggestions are too complicated for the general public... or they costs too much.. who knows
