Official Sero Thread Part 2

I wonder if its time for a new SERO thread, as this one is now almost 100 pages long. If we start a new thread, we need to have page one as an FAQ, and have that person constantly update it. I think this will give the users a place to get info, and we wont have to keep answering the same questions over and over. The SERO thread at Slickdeals works really well, and its easy to refer people to post one, since it can be tough to find all the info in 100 pages of discussion.

I will volunteer to start the new thread, and keep it current with the promotions and such, but I wanted to get other peoples opinions before starting a new thread.

Unlimited is for the duration of the contract and then will remain in place until superceded by another plan. It is a GREAT deal!

I 2nd that...To this day I have converted 24 accounts to the SMS included SERO. (Tells you how many people I got signed up with SERO plans).....I still have 6 more accounts to do..Everyone wants me to do their account for them, they think they'll mess something up.

Anyone who SLEEPS this deal is IN-FREAKING-SANE, period point blank.

To bad im not in a real spint market for this plan. Now that the system is one, it now makes the nextel side seem as if we are out of market. Its sad man. West michigan is now a partner market. Unless they change something.

usually when are new phones released under the SERO plan?...its at the same time they become available right?...and how are they prices generally after contract?...the same as the regular plans when they are released new?....
the 755p seems to be the same price ($280) in both the regular and sero plans now...and it has not been released for that long....like 3weeks i think.

also the free unlimited text for sero is set to expire at the june30th right?

I concur! This was good in the beginning, but its much too long now. A FAQ in the beginning which is regularly updated would be best and would probably keep this from growing so quickly.

So I called this morning, everything went fine but I needed to make a deposit of 150$ They guy said they would keep my info for two weeks if I wanted to call back. Does anyone here know/think I could possibly negotiate to 100$? Thanks for any help.

There is no negotiating a deposit.

I think deposits should be a thing of the past. These days it's very easy to put a limit on the account. When it gets to 100$ usage just suspend the service.

They do that, my girlfriend has a hundred and fifty dollar limit on her Sero account.
