You can't tether for free, unless you have a phone like the A900 which you can disable the modem NAI but they can still catch you. It really is unlimited too. I came from Boost and I'm lovin it.

Does anyone know when the Q will be available on SERO? I have been waiting to pull the trigger until imphonic gets the Q.
Wait, I don't get it. You say the data is unlimited but that they might try to catch you for tethering? Why would they care if it's unlimited? Also, what's a modem NAI?Originally Posted by dlichterman

Would still be interested in selling my Motorola i930. Not in the best condition (outside lcd screen doesn't work, spring to flip the phone shut won't click closed anymore) - but hey, that just means I'd sell it for less. Unlocked and decerted, of course
. PM me if interested.
Tethering and On phone use is different. If you suddenly use 10GB of data they will probably notice and see if you are tethering because it is hard to use that much data unless you have a smartphone. Tethering is called PAM(Phone As Modem) and is 39.99 I believe.
On my A900M I can disable modem NAI which allows me to tether without a username so I can do it free if I need to. Some phones have this, most don't.
Oh, ok. So if you had a pda they wouldn't notice you were tethering cause they expect you to use a lot of data anyway?
No. Usually you need to use a username and password to tether, but some phones you can disable modem NAI so that anything just works. Also on PDAs there are some that you can hack to tether free.

Yes. Does anyone have a valid email to use?
Oh, is unlimited text included with sero plans?
No unlimited text with sero
I really wish unlimited text would be included with the cheapest SERO plan. At $50 total, thad be an amazing deal. Too bad its only available with the two most expensive. I wonder if you got the right rep they would add unlimited for $15 to the $30 SERO plan.... hm....
