In October when you picked the Blackberry online did it say "$19.99"? I wonder if the free data is the "non-Blackberry" data plan but it just picks it for you...do you know for sure it is free Blackberry data?Originally Posted by NYC_nigel

OK... so I just called today to get some credits on my bill... and I decided to give it a try and get my friend - a current Sprint customer - changed to the SERO plan.
Well... I GOT IT !
that was acomplished by spending about 90 minutes on the phone.
The first representative I spoke with ( not in the US ) was really helpfull but was not able to set up the plan - he did try though.
The second representative - in the commercial accounts departament - gave me the speech that this is only done through the site and that If I was on the SERO plan as a current sprint customer... the person that did it would be in trouble blah blah blah...
she was no help so we told her to send us over to retention...
The retention Rep gave us a bit of trouble... but after a little while and asking about the ETF we got it... and he set up the plan for my friend...
YAY...
I gotta say... it's hard... but it's possible !

I am trying to resolve this also, I have been transfered from one person to the next each with less and less intelligence as I try to get data for my blacknerry
Isn't the Blackberry phone requires the BlackBerry Unlimited Data Pack @ additional $39.99 / month to access the email and web which is NOT included in the SERO plans?Originally Posted by NYC_nigel

My wife has a Sprint line that has expired (November), I fired up a new Sero plan for her in my name, and she would like to keep her old number. We will cancel her phone and transfer her old number to the new Sero line (and presumably cancel the number the new Sero phone came with).
*2 tells me that we have to go to a Sprint store and fill out the transfer of liability forms. Does that sound right?
SERO 1250 minutes
Unlimited Nights and Weekends
Free roaming
Free Power Vision
Unlimited Web
Unlimited Data
Unlimited Picture Mail
$49.99/month
That was why i asked. When i signed up for my 700p it was listed at 19.99. Now its gone.Originally Posted by rho928

My question is about insurance on the new phones ordered online through SERO, how do you get insurance incase it's lost stolen or needs repair? When you activate the phone do you have to add it to your plan?
I think you would have to call customer service and have it added on afterwards. As long as you do it within the first 30 days, they shouldn't have any problem adding insurance.Originally Posted by bojackr1

How do you get the SMS for only $5 for 1,000? Can you buy at inphonic and get that?

Did they state how one would go about switching from an old SERO plan to a new one? Guess one could try calling cs, but the hit-and-miss attempts with activating SERO with cs would also make me believe the same would happen if one were to try and switch SERO plans.Originally Posted by quick99si
