Another question, although I fear I already have the answer...

With the $30 (500 minute) plan, it appears you can only add 300 sms messages? I want to add unlimited and I have no problem paying for it. Is that ONLY available with the $49.99 (1250 minute) SERO plan?

What's strange is this...on the $49.99 SERO plan, unlimited texts costs $15. On a regular plan (non-SERO) it is only $10. Aren't we supposed to be saving money here?

i beleive there's 3 options....you can get the 300 for 500 for free, you can pay for the text packages or you can get someone who's nice enuff to offer unlimietd for 8 bucks like I did...but since I don't text more than 400 a month, I just took the free 500. it all depends on who your talking too....so keep trying

    Here's what worries me...

I sign a 2 year contract and attempt to get unlimited text messages and fail. In that case, I'll be leaving the contract and subjected to a 200 dollar termination fee. Hell, I'll even pay $20 for unlimited texts, just as long as I can get them! It's still cheaper than their regular plans.

Also, for the record...I tried to call Sprint to ask about the SERO plan...all three reps I talked to had NO idea what a SERO plan was. Anyone have a differnent number to call other than 1-800-SPRINT1?

You wont owe 200 ETF if you get unlimited text messeges. As long as you keep sprint service, there wont be an ETF, so you dont have to worry about that. You can also get unlimited text for 15.00 without trying to get a rep to discount it.

To sign up for SERO go to Sprint.com/sero for the email address put in openaccess@sprint.com.

is it possible to get a Sprint Sero voice plan and Sprint Sero broadband plan, together?

Yes. Sign up for 2 accounts. You can't put them together on the same bill, unfortunately, becuase that would make sense and you're dealing with Sprint.

Ok, one last question: if I signed up for Sprint's EVDO service now, and their voice plan, say, later this year, that would work out ok, correct?

That shouldn't be a problem, assuming they leave the SERO program running until you sign up for the extra line.

OK, thanks. Apparently Sero is officially ending this year, at the very tale end of this year, so, I cannot wait too long.

I received 500 free sms for the asking. I've seen quite a few reports of people asking for unlimited and being offered a discounted rate for unlimited. I'm sure some were granted but not many.

    The picturemail is unlimited however.

You can only have ONE phone on Sero, no matter what misinfo you may have seen. So just be aware before you sign up. They cannot add any lines to it, just the 1 line, sorry.
