I got a $75 dollar referral(and $25 to the new customer) offer last week in a post card from Sprint! That would be a kick if it worked!Originally Posted by wmdunn

Thanks I'm counting on getting a second for a 6800 and my credit is in the high 700's so I'm good to go there!Originally Posted by wmdunn
When I got my first sero the A900 wasn't offered so my friend helped me switch it out from a cheep one. I hope I can do it again because I'm in an EVDO A area, needing push mail and lovin WM6!
Did I mention wanting to try Skype and Google talk on EVDO!

My sister has Nextel. Would she qualify as a referral for the $25 credit or is it only Sprint?
Actually the bottom line is: Are you one of them?Originally Posted by wmdunn
Again, we're talking here about a self-referral credit. You first said anyone can get one, then you said not on the first line but only on the second and third. If you and others are getting them at all you're the exceptions, just as anyone able to get a regular plans changed to a SERO plan is an exception. Most who try to get a self-referral will be denied.

Why do you have to be so negative? If you don't have something positive to share . . . why not just keep still?Originally Posted by overtheair

Why do you resist answering a direct question?Originally Posted by wmdunn
I'm not being negative at all. If you or anyone else managed to get a self-referral credit I'm positively ecstatic, but also aware that you're an exception to the program rules. And if you didn't get one but are just passing on something you read in a 350+ page forum thread, then I'm not being negative but just trying to prevent what you referred to as the spreading of misinformation.
The only thing self-evident about getting a referral credit from Sprint by referring yourself is that the referral program rules prohibit it.Originally Posted by wmdunn

Not only do you continue to be negative, you are actually the one spreading misinformation. Many (including myself) have experienced what I have reported, and it's for others to decide if they want to avail themselves of the advice given. They will know soon enough, if the advice is worthwhile. For you to sit on the sidelines and criticize, well . . . enough already.Originally Posted by overtheair

I agree. But that doesn't sound to me like absolute truth. Probably not to Schopenhauer either.Originally Posted by wmdunn
Dude I assure you I'm as much on the frontline of this as you are. I've personally attempted a self-referral credit and was denied.Originally Posted by wmdunn
I'm sorry that you were denied, but others have received the credit. Why not just let the readers of the forum decide for themselves. Wouldn't you agree that if someone tries and receives the credit . . . that it's a good thing? Just let it go . . . because, as we all know, Sprint customer service is very unpredictable. The so called "rules" are often quite negotiable. I think that I'm finished responding to you.Originally Posted by overtheair

i don't understand something which speed give me EVDO in KB in sero plan for $49.99 ?
and Moto Q can work as a modem for EVDO ?
50 bucks is for a card. With sero you get EVDO(it's included)! I don't think you can get PAM(phone as modem) with sero. You may want to look into workarounds(not Sprint approved) for occasional(at your own peril) tethering.Originally Posted by pr0lab
then maybe i miss something, what the difference between those 2 pictures?

The 49.99 plan you highlighted is for an broadband aircard, not for a phone. It has no calling minutes associated with it. Also, the only workaround for using the Q without a PAM plan is PdaNet for Windows Mobile.
this is just wireless internet card(laptop & etc...) right?
if thats what you mean than what the internet speed, and 49.99 is amount for month for 2 year ?
