Can anybody else verify this?
I spent a good amount of hours trying to get unlimited text and the best they could do for me was 500 for free![]()

I am on the phone with Sprint CS to port my number over from tracfone and they just informed me that SERO plans now come with unlimited text messaging as part of the plan. All existing customers wll be notified to call and get that option added to their plan, and any new customers will have it automatically added. So she just added it to my account, so others should call and get it added, if they dont have it on there now.
F@$k what you heard, its whats your hearing.

Not really, you were given very bad information.Originally Posted by fadi33
Text messaging is still not included on Sero plans. Nothing has changed.
I am so OVERWHELMED with the differing advice on forums regarding SERO.
What is the best method to request this plan? (Please provide actual phone number, or email)
Can you transfer a current Sprint account? Does the "Right Plan Promise" help?
So confused. . . And I'm a pretty bright lil cookie usually![]()

As for converting a current plan to a SERO plan, from what I've read it is practically impossible.
I figured. I asked the rep over the phone and she said this is not included.Originally Posted by ZeroEffect
HOWEVER
I was offered unlimited text for $8 or 500 texts for free. I went for the latter, but $8 for unlimited text seems to be a good value, SERO or not.
I just signed up for the Sero plan with Sprint and tried to porn my number over from Nextel and recieved an email saying I'm not eligible to port a number. Anyone know whats up?
We're sorry, this is offer is not available in your area. However, you may be eligible for other great Sprint offers. Please click here to find out more.
I'm glad I got it before it went away in my area.
For the rebates, if I ported my number after having the phone for a few days do I write in my ported number or the number I was given when purchasing the phone?
both... indicate which is which

Sorry, couldn't resist!!
My understanding is that existing Sprint/Nextel numbers can't be ported to a new SERO line.
I have a brand new PPC 6700 + Sero 1250 plan - If anyone is interested on this plan + phone my contract ends in December and I would like to transfer it to someone. Please click here
PM for more details.
Thanks

The best way to keep you sprint number is do what I did. Port your sprint number to tracfone (prepaid wireless service). Order a phone/plan through SERO site. After receving your phone, call up sprint to port your number from tracfone to sprint. If your currently on contract eith sprint, you will have to pay an ETF. ETF varies for each person, it was 150 for me. Which is fine cause I bought moto q for 100 and will ebay it and the profit will cover the ETF. I have the PPC-6700 and dont need the Moto Q. Hope that helps.Originally Posted by sickgirl
