Can you still port from nextel into a sero plan? I did with my first two lines about a year ago. Today I tried opening a new line and as soon as I told them that I was porting from nextel they cancelled the order and said I would have to get a regular plan. Anyone tried this recently?
When that dries, its going to itch.

All right...more of a phone question than an SERO question but...
...got the Q with the $30 SERO. What all is unlimited? I know web is (lovely EvDO Rev A here...too bad the Q is jsut Rev 0 and no I ain't gonna tether...or if I do I'll be extra thrifty with data). I know text is. I know M2M and after 7 n\w is. But what else? Something about picture\video sharing? I can do MMS with the Q right?
SERO + Android = win. HSPA+ also = win, but it isn't available everywhere :/

You lucked out. I had a typical Sprint CS handle my email here it is. Even though I was told by two people that I had unlimited texting I went ahead and sent an email. I received a response tonight, and now my online account says I have "unlimited", but also lists the "casual SMS". He didn't zero out "casual SMS" so I know I am going to get charged for it. He gave me unlimited texting as of TODAY!! This guy was almost useless, now I either have to email back or call *shudder at the thought* to have this fixed.Originally Posted by cheapa55

What I sent.
"To whom it may concern,
I just recently sign up two phones under the SERO plan. The SERO website and the rep who started my account said told me "free unlimited text messaging" was added free. However, when logging onto my account at sprint.com, the text messaging shows 0 included. I called CS and was told that free texting was on my account. When I log into my account it still says I have "0" inlcuded.
I would appreciate it if you can add "free unlimited text messaging" to both SERO plans. I don't understand why two people have told me that I have it, but my online account does not show it."
The response
"Thank you for contacting Sprint regarding the change to your account.
My name is ******* and I would be happy to resolve this issue for you today. *Unlimited Text Messaging For $0* As requested I have gone ahead and added this package to both your lines effective today. The monthly charge for this service is $0" I hope you find this feature beneficial to you."
I can't wait until things are the way they were supposed to be in the first place. This is not rocket science, how hard can it be to set up an account right the first, second, or third try?!?!?! Once everything is set I won't have to deal with Sprint anymore other than paying my bill.

I finally got ontio SERO. I've been out of contract since december. I put an order through inphonic back at the end of February, but it never went through. Inphoincs kept showing a balance due, and maybe a credit issue. I called sprint, no balance due and they upped my credit limit to $500 and approved me for two additional lines, despite dozens of calls to inphonic and sprint, it never went through, I even had emails from ecare verifying that I was ok for more lines. I never got anyone willing to change my account to a sero account. I had originally opted for a razr, but have decided that they are too flimsy, and settled on the Sanyo M1($350 - $150 discount, then a $100 rebate to be submitted - I hate rebates but wanted the phone). I started to freak after they took it off the site, and my phone was run over by a lawnmower this weekend so I figured it was time to try again. I still couldn't get anyone to switch my line, so I added an additional line. I have a throwaway phone I bought at walmart for $15 . How do I work the porting to the throwaway carrier and back to sprint?
Should I wait until I get the M1 and then port my number off of sprint and then back to the M1 line? Do I need to leave a buffer time between ports? Am I ok to go ahead and port now before I get the new phone and then just port when I activate? I have a corp discount on my account right now, I'm hoping it will hit the sero line but if it doesn't I can live with that. Just looking for advice from others who had to deal with porting their number outside of sprint and back to sprint.
Thanks
So it now looks like you have three sero plans A?Originally Posted by turin39789

I have my old line, and one sero line with the phone on the way. Just trying ot figure out how fast I can port my number off and back on so I can start using the new phone asap.
Hey guys...my head is spinning from reading 20 plus pages of SERO stuff on here. I have a few questions I was hoping someone could answer for me.
I currently have a Family Plan with verizon with 4 lines. For 2 of those lines my contract is up 7/25/07. These are the numbers I want to port to Sprint. My other two lines are somewhere in Aug of 08.
What's the best way to do this? Sign up with SERO for two new lines, then on July 26th have them port my numbers over? Or should I just wait till the end of July and do it all then? (i'm a little worried the SERO plans won't last till the end of July).
Also, with my other two lines on Verizon will I need to do another 2 year contract to get on a lower minute family plan? The phones are for my mom and dad who might actually be leaving the country in 3 months. I'd hate to sign a new two year agreement with Verizon to only have them leave the country in a few months and leave me with two lines I don't need.
Also, what's the current email address to use for SERO? Savings@sprint.com?
If not, would a sprint employee kindly PM me their email address to use?
And lastly, SERO currently has the anytime minutes, unlim night/weekend at 7pm, unlim text and data, correct? Can I pay an additional fee for tethering?
EDIT: Sorry...but does this also include nationwide roaming/calls?
thanks!

SERO currently has unlimited text, data and picture mail. If you wanted to tether, you could get the $50 unlimited 'net package...I know it's steep but hey you get a whole other device with it...
On the subject of email addresses, just google @mail.sprint.com. 'swhat I did.

This is really annoying. I've tried like 10 different e-mails that should work but everytime i get the same message
"We're sorry, but we need more information to determine whether you are eligible for an employee discount. Please call us at 1-888-798-1005.
Thank you for visiting Sprint!"
I used to be able to go right in and shop with an e-mail i had found but now it doesn't work.
I just tried and was able to get into SERO with the savings email address. Are you trying to sign up via email?Originally Posted by integra14
Yeah it sounds like you are trying to get into the store through the corp discount Portal to me (you give company email and it takes you in a discounted store).
You would never get that message while trying to access the Sero site, if you give a bad email it would say:
Email address not recognized. Please check the spelling of the email address you entered.
Return to entry page.
I just tried and it doesn't show the plan... only gives you the phone number to call. Is this normal?
