The mobile supports asian languages. It is the carriers preference not to offer it. But I sort of see your point. If you import from Asia, then you do not get the dual bands in the USA...My understanding correct?

I can see that about 3 or 4 pana people or no longer posting here. I suspect maybe a memo went around.
Yeah, same thought occured here... oh well, mod position going free then...![]()
Actually, I was complaining about how I just bought one and NOW I would rather have the x70 because of bluetooth!
bluetooth headsets are the future... especially when cell phones are banned when driving.
Why would you people compare the T610 with this marvel.
Panasonic managed to squash in everything a person could possibly want in a phone in a 95 gram package (same mass as a T610).
There is something called style, something the T610 lacks I'm afraid.
About anyone complaining about 16-tone polyphonic melodies.. WHO CARES.. get a life, its not like people are gonna judge you if you have a phone with more instruments playing at the same time.. how sad can a person get.
The X70 has twice the memory of a T610, and a better screen.
For the lucky users of I-Mode here in Europe, you'd be pleased to know that there is a version called X70i which has I-Mode services implemented (most probably 'Doja' for java, in this case)
I'm sold. The perfect replacement for my GD87.
The problem with the Nokia and Sony Ericson alternative is the fact that although software featurewise it maybe more flexible (i.e more PC like), its often oversized and clumsy looking (some would call them gay). I would much prefer this sexy piece of kit. It has everything I want and need.
Its obviously still under development. So far it looks pretty damn good. I guess its a phone without nerdy pda-like features but a phone geared towards quality and style.
I think the most important phone feature is:
The fact that its Japanese
I think the second most important phone feature is:
The fact that its NOT Scandi
Yes, that's what I was trying to say... strangely, it seems that the GD88 or GU87 is going to support the Chinese language; because the spec on Panasonic mobile for North America has mentioned it.

I really like it, looks a little neater than the GD87, more confirmed information (java addition?) is needed for me on the specs for me to upgrade from my GD87 yet though
I don't have the GD87 so I really want this phone cause of the 850 band.
My only compliants would be GET RID OF THE PURPLE EXTERNAL COLOR!
And the cam pic size should be bigger.
After all that, I love it.
well...i think the purple led color matches the color of the phone very well.
much better design than GD87. but feature wise...i dont think the BT could make me spend another 500 to upgrade.
I want something much better than the GD87.
I expect you'll be able to change that, just as you can with the GD87.well...i think the purple led color matches the color of the phone very well.
Msg from SysAdm: I've upped my priority; now up yours.
pinoy is diggin this handset!
gotta update my 'LIST'
outtz
Is it wrong for me to be sexually aroused by that phone?![]()
