Other Motorola's coming soon to Rogers

I dunno if this is old, but here goes:

Supposedly, the V66 and the C350 are coming to Rogers in a month or so. The V66 will come as an "entry-level" flip phone for under $100... dunno the pricing of the C350 (basically colour version of C333).

And after these, Rogers is supposedly getting a new Motorola phone every 2 months.

I can't belive rogers would even bother carrying the V66 now..
what's the point.. isn't that phone like 2 years old already?

I remember seeing that thing on Fido long time ago

I heard the V66 is coming soon too..

I think the reason is so we have a cheap Flip to compete with Bell & Telus.

I know it's an old model now but hey for under $100 it's still a great value for those who demand a cheap price and flip.

By offering the V66 they will be able to reduce the handset subsidy on the V60.

Just my 2 cents

the only logic I can surmise is that Motorola is trying to spread the v60 series as the new startac and have some special deal with Rogers ? Cuz , for us "oldies" we all remember when the startac came out with Bell and the years that followed..

what specifically are you talking about?
did bell have the Startac first for a long time or something?

I can not see Rogers carrying the V66 as there not made anymore... and they didn't pass the rogers testing i beleave.
As for the C350 maybe

is not half as good as V60, sound and RF wise. Had the chance to use it for a few days. Besides, it is just too, too small to operate for most people. Don't get it unless you want a really small phone. V60g is anbout $100 if you are willing to sign a contract. The difference is much greater than $100, assuming V66 will go for $0 plus contract.

Whoa, V66 now? That's weird, it better be the SE version then. I have heard that the C350 should be out soon.

right now there is a big promotional push to get the v60 stock sold
after that they'll introduce the new v60i in the market
btw rogers is getting a new colour screen nokia fone in april
not too sure on the model name unfortunately

Can anyone confirm about the V66 is really coming to Rogers? cuz one of my friend really want V66, but she don't want to order it from the net or buy it from Fido and unlock it.
