the phone plays 3g2 files, that are 320*240 OR smaller

and they go in my_fix on the card

make sure the file names are not to long 30 charactors and NO funny charactors !@#$%^&*()_+ only letters or numbers

videos must be converted with te correct software , you cnnot just drop any ol QT file on the phone and exphect it to play

SUPER Get it here seems to work really well for many people, you should check it out.

Hello,I saw you helped someone else with there movies/conversion to play on their phone.Any idea why when I use super to convert to 3g2 then I move to my_flix on my 2g memory card ,then reboot phone, when I got to my videos and try to play a screen that is black with red writing appears and says this format is not supported.Very weird ,I cannot seem to figure it out,it says its a 3g2 file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Are you sure you selected the .3gp (Sony Ericsson) not the .3gp (Nokia/NEC/Siemens) as the output container, and that the output codec is set to .mp4
Also, you don't need to reboot the phone if you add a video to the memory card. Just put the card in your phone, go to My Videos, and select "Play"
Also, did you try to watch the video with Quicktime or Mpegable player to verify that the encode worked?
Also, did you try to play the video more than once? sometimes you have to TRY to play it a few times on the phone before it works.
    Hope this helps!

the settings I have posted numerous times are

    sony/e 3g2, codec mpeg4 , NOT (xvid, h264, etc )

    resolution 320*240, or 240*192 or 176*144, NOT 640*480 or 352*240 or 288 etc..

    15fps, AAC audio, 56k stereo,

your PC will play many formats, the phone only plays (2) and they are so close as to be very little differecne besides the ext letters

    triple check all your settings

all these play on my enV

try them, then load them into super and look at the specs on them

the best way to work with QT files is to use QT pro to save the file ( export ) as some other format, then use SUPER to convert the exported file NOT the QT file

IF you want to avoid that step, then aquire/DL the file is some format other than QT

if a QT file won't play using QT then the files is BAD ... end of story, forget it, don't try to convert it

128*96 is a tiny, and 24k bitrate , the enV plays bitrate from 160k-240k

to me it looks pretty lame

did you try any of the ones i posted links to?
