    Markol,

Does your predictive English SMS work? My 707SC does not and it's a pain in the *** to type.

Also, did you figure out how to reset the VM#? If you hold & press #1 it'll keep dial to 1416. I can't seem to find a place to change that to my desire #.

hi markol, are you using your 707SC with Rogers' SIM?
have you encountered the "reboot" problem?

thanks in advance for your reply!

yeah, it says it has predictive text and i turned it on, but doesn't seem to be working, but it does have something to add words, i dont know if you have to do that

for voicemail.. not sure either cuz i just use the answering machine function.. but i tried going to settings>call settings>voice mail>no reply>activate.. but it says incorrect settings or something.. not sure

    Same problem goes for me.
SMS is being a real pain the *** as I have to spell each lette out. While VM has work around (just have VM# in my phonebook), it's still annoying.

It's hard to accept such a nice phone has flaws with unlocked version. I hope these can be changed later on.

Any updates on the "reboot" problem?
There is a firmware "bug" or better yet security, that disable the use of any 2G sim card.
It works initially, at least for a while, but it will reboot itself when you call anyone with the 2G sim card.
I believe all Canada wide Service providers are 2G only.
I am eager to get this phone but i don't want a phone that reboots everytime when I call.

Congrats on your purchase, it looks great!

I was considering purchasing the 707SC as my next phone, since it's one of the few new releases by SoftBank that have been unlocked, but after I found out it didn't have a card slot, I decided to hold off. Even with a 1 GB miniSD card in my current phone (703SHf), it still feels like I don't have enough room to store all my favorite media when I'm on the go. On the other hand, I love how slim the phone is, though, and how it offers features mine doesn't offer, such as Word/Excel support, Chinese language selection, and a higher resolution camera. Whenever Samsung releases a similar model with microSD support, I'll definitely jump in line to get one.

I'm also using it on Rogers sim without problem. I think the problem is only on 705sc and 706sc.

The 706SC have micro sd card slot and it's similar to 707sc.
