Sorry to disappoint, but it looks like the top picture after it's programmed and normally in idle mode. However, alerts and caller-id (etc) look like the bottom. Hey Guys, just wondering if you have had any success ordering phones from the Verizon online site? i had planned to go into a store on the 6th and pick up this phone but it appears that the phone won't be in stores until the 17th. I'm wondering if I order the phone on the 6th if it will be here before the 17th or are there normally long delays on the website due to high demand when a phone is first released?

Yes, if you put in 99999, it will show you the VX8700, but no picture has been loaded yet. Just the normal details of the device.
