    SIM not allowed MM#3

    Funny thing just happened to me, twice now, within the past few moments..
    On my Samsung Sync, i've got a nice little message where my alpha tag should read cingular.. and it goes to no service (just those faded out emergency call only bars) instead it's:

    SIM not allowed MM#3

    Anyone know what that might be?

    what color is your SIM? orange and white? or blue and white?

    it's the 3g sim that's blue and white with that little orange 3G symbol.

    sounds like you're in an area of no cingular coverage and the mobile only sees TMo. That's what the msg refers to
