Very good idea. Do only the flashing antennas work with the new base? Or will stub antennas from Eforcity.com or daydeal.com work witht the new base?

    That would be great. Thanks

Any aftermarket antenna will work on the base like http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=35161 .

    thx for the tip

okay so i had a steel retractable antenna for about 2 months and then the top broke (that little piece that pops out so u can open and close the antenna) so i used ur method and got the light up...

the best part is when im at school and my phone is on silent I can see the antenna light up and teachers cant say the noise from my phone is distracting the class...

by the way be careful which antenna you buy b/c not all light up antenna's work with this method I found one to work after trying 3 others so watch out...

I don't recommend buying one on-line since you can't try it out unless they say it will work with CDMA
