    Cool Flashing antennas for T720

Have you wanted a flashing antenna for yout Moto T720? Well here's how! Go to http://www.ebay.com and search for metal/titanium antennas for the T720. As you see on mine, the base comes with it. The retractable antenna in removable, and the adapter stays. Then buy a flashing atenna, and attach it to the phone. The screw is compatible on all antennas. Have fun and peace!

So hows the reception with the lighted antenna?
Ive sold lighted antennas for a few years and I know from experience they seem to degrade the signal.
Just wondering how it does with the Verizon phones since all the antennas I sell are for Cingular phones.

btw..i ordered the retractable antennas from ebay and got ripped off...they werent for the CDMA T720, didnt fit.
Now i am being ignored by the seller....paypal buyer protection about to be enabled i guess.

Do flashing antennas work as well on CDMA phones as they do on GSM/TDMA...

The answer is a resounding NO. All current light-up antennas (and vibrating belt-clips and pens, etc.) are not compatible with CDMA. I've been turned down enough times by retailers trying to sell me such devices until I tell them I have a Verizon phone.

NOTE I take that back - there are some punk-*** sharks who are looking to grab an extra $20 out of your pocket, especially the kiosk carts run by some third-world idiot. This one guy was adamant in telling me his particular ones are different from all the other booths in the mall and are compatible with all frequencies and networks. He proceeded to install it on my phone and then tried to call it. What do you know? I didn't light up. He takes my phone, tries to run through the settings with his back turned to me (can we say, try "FORCING ANALOG?") and still it wouldn't give the sucker a light. I said, "better luck next time."

Okay Bushido! If you would have read and seen, i have a Verizon CDMA Motorola T720 phone. It is completely possible to have a flashing atenna on CDMA. If you read my steps they tell you how. Also, on the Nokia 5185i for Verizon, they sell the flashing antennas in Target! It is actually cheap and possible to have the flashing antennas on CDMA. You just need to find loopholes. The reception on the phone only loses one bar , but really good in fact. Whenever I am driving at night, I always have my subs just a bumpin, and the antenna shines so bright, I am able to not miss a phone call.

Just so you know, if you wanna get the retracable antenna, then replace it with a flashing one, you would want to follow this link: http://search.ebay.com/search/search...ht=1&combine=y . This will show you exactly what you need!

Have fun with your phone, make it personal!

Here is a better, yet crappy exapmle of how it looks/works. I doesn't flash, but is pulses as to what I say, and what I hear.

OK I'm a little confused. After replacing the antenna that came with the T720 with the titanium antenna, what do I do with the flashing antenna? Do I attached that to the end of the titanium one? Or do I replace the end of the titanium antenna with the flashing one? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've never installed a flashing antenna before. Thanks.

unscrew the retractable antenna...and screw on the lighted antenna. Once you have the BASE installed on the phone, you can switch antenna TIPS (ex. retractable, or diff lighted tips)
