first if phone is lock dial *228 and then press 1 . that reset your code for last four digit of your cell #(phone will reset ,no any data wil be lost) .. if you do not know a cell # and phone is still lock then press .#4357*4357.and you can see phone number thats your lock code last four digit.. thats for lg vx8500 (verizon)

Different kind of unlocking. This thread refers to the security lock on the phone. Verizon phones aren't locked as far as an MSL. Check out the Cricket sub-forum for more info.

Yeah, same thing. Verizon doesn't lock their phones. And all VZW feature phones (that I know of) act the same way, in resetting the user lock code during programming
