I tried to use the CSD settings on my 6310i but I get a busy signal and it shows 'Bearer not available' in the display. Anyone has this same problem?

the mms settings would be the gprs settings and if your phone allows it the csd settings too.

Thanks for the wap settings. It worked like a charm on my 6100.
Do you have any idea how to connect the 6100 to a palm over infrared to gprs?
I'm currently subscribed to teh $20, 10mb vpn plan.

Have done a search but am still not sure what the phone and palm settings are.
    thanks for any help!

    5. Tap on New.

    6. In the Name field, enter a Name [variable] for your connection.

    10. Press Back four times and press Exit.

    Setting up the Connection

    1. On the Palm, tap on Network.

These instructions worked very well for my Nokia 6100 GPRS connection over infrared to a Sony Clie TG-50.

tried the GPRS settings on my 7250 and they work for browsing but sending MMS they don't work... I called CS and they gave me the following settings:

You have to set these in the Message Settings->Multimedia Msg.->Connection settings

    homepage: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms

    Session Mode: Permanent

    Data Bearer: GPRS

    GPRS access point: wap.voicestream.com

    IP address: 216.155.165.050

    Authentication Type: normal

    User name: leave blank

    Password: leave blank

That should work... only difference from the posted settings is the homepage... after that it worked. If MMS still doesn't work, call CS and tell them you want to enable MMS. Should work after that...

    at least for the 7250...

    Question 6820

Ok. Great. But how do you apply this to the 6820 nokia fuzy bear? What the heck is a proxy and then a port? I cannot enter the IP address anywhere on this phone nor can I enter into temporary session. This is not entry for IP and the session mode is always permenant.

    Please help.
